## Choosing your path

- **Changing career into styling or interiors.** Start with Personal Styling Female
Clients Diploma (Online) for flexible study around existing commitments, or Personal
Styling Advanced Diploma (Flagship London) for immersive in-person training with
business mentoring. For the fullest route - fashion styling, portfolio shoots and
Fashion Week access - the Fashion & Personal Styling Advanced Diploma (Flagship
London). No prior creative-industry experience is required for entry-level diplomas.

- **Already working as a stylist, image consultant or makeup artist.** To add a
specialist chargeable service: Colour Analysis Course Online, then the Sub-Season
Colour Analysis Masterclass once qualified. To extend into menswear: Personal Styling
Male Clients Diploma, which requires the female clients diploma first. Where the gap
is positioning, pricing and client acquisition rather than craft: Personal Stylist
  Business Training.

- **Moving into interior design.** Interior Design Residential Diploma (Online) is the
foundation-level entry point. Interior Design Commercial Advanced Diploma (Online) is
the Level 2 follow-on and requires previous design experience.

- **Adding sustainability credentials.** Fashion Sustainability Certificate (Online), at
£180 the lowest-cost entry point in the portfolio, suitable for beginners.

## Common questions

**Is the training accredited?**
Courses are accredited under A.C.E. - Accreditation for Creative Excellence - the
college's own quality assurance framework, built on published standards, independent
review and continual improvement. LCS was previously accredited by the British
Accreditation Council and moved to A.C.E. Most courses additionally carry CPD
Certification from the CPD Certification Service, awarding 40 CPD hours.

**Can I study online, or do I need to be in London?**
Both. Eight courses are studied entirely online and are open to students in any country.
Two flagship advanced diplomas are taught in person in Bloomsbury, and the Sub-Season
Colour Analysis Masterclass combines a live online session with one in-person day.

**Can I study at my own pace?**
Online courses run on fixed intakes with weekly live masterclasses at a set time, but
every session is recorded, so students who cannot attend live can catch up.

**Do you offer instalments, and what is the cancellation policy?**
Every course can be paid in full or in three interest-free instalments. There is a
14-day cancellation period with defined refund terms.

**How long do courses take?**
Between 4 and 11 weeks for online courses. The Flagship London Personal Styling Advanced
Diploma is one in-person week plus six weeks of online mentoring; the Fashion & Personal
Styling Advanced Diploma is six weeks.

**Have I left it too late to change career?**
LCS trains adults at every career stage and has done since 2011. Prior experience in the
creative industries is not required for entry-level diplomas.

**Is there real portfolio work and industry access, or is it just theory?**
Courses are built around practical assessment, case studies and client-ready skills. The
Fashion & Personal Styling Advanced Diploma includes studio shoots with professional
models and brands and behind-the-scenes London Fashion Week experience.

**Will this help me be taken seriously as a professional?**
Accredited certification, a defined service offer and business-launch content are part
of the training. LCS does not promise guaranteed jobs, guaranteed income levels, or a
specific number of clients on graduation.

## About this file

Maintained by London College of Style. Last verified: [DD Month YYYY - insert
publication date]. Course intake dates are deliberately not listed here; see each course
page for current dates. Prices, course names, durations, accreditation status and
payment terms are re-verified quarterly.

Replace the [DD Month YYYY] placeholder with the date you publish.

2. Upload it to the WordPress root

  1. Connect over SFTP or open your host's file manager.
  2. Open the WordPress web root - the directory containing wp-config.php, wp-admin/ and index.php. If Code23 manages deployment, send them the file and this instruction.
  3. Upload llms.txt into that directory, alongside index.php. Not /wp-content/, not a subfolder.
  4. Set permissions to 644.

Do not create this as an Elementor page or a WordPress post. A page renders inside the theme and returns HTML, which defeats the purpose. It must be a static file on disk at the domain root.

3. Check Rank Math is not blocking it

Rank Math generates the site's robots.txt virtually - there is no physical file to edit.

  1. Rank Math › General Settings › Edit robots.txt.
  2. Confirm no Disallow rule covers /llms.txt. Current rules cover only /wp-admin/ and feed paths, which is fine - this is a confirmation, not an edit.

4. Purge caches

If Code23 has a CDN or caching layer in front of the site, purge it - single URL https://londoncollegeofstyle.com/llms.txt if supported, otherwise purge all. No cache plugin was detected in the page source, so if you know of none, skip this.

5. Verify

  1. Open https://londoncollegeofstyle.com/llms.txt in a private window. Raw plain text - no theme, no header, no Elementor styling.
  2. curl -I https://londoncollegeofstyle.com/llms.txt returns 200 and Content-Type: text/plain. If it returns text/html or forces a download, add an explicit .txt type rule in the server config.
  3. Open all 24 URLs in the file. Every one must return 200.
  4. Every price and duration matches its course page.
  5. [DD Month YYYY] placeholder replaced.
